Machine Learning

A branch of AI in which models learn patterns from data instead of being explicitly programmed with rules.

Last updated

Machine learning (ML) trains a model on examples so it can make predictions or decisions on new data. Instead of coding rules by hand, engineers choose an algorithm, feed it training data and let it adjust internal values until its output matches the desired result. Common approaches include supervised, unsupervised and reinforcement learning. ML powers spam filters, product recommendations, fraud detection and most of the AI tools people use today.
